The mission of of the DLDC is to initiate, research, develop, fund, and promote projects, programs and businesses that stimulate economic development in the Douglaston Village for the benefit of community residents and to support businesses that operate in the area.

Producing free movies, concerts and other events throughout the year on the Plaza

Revitalizing the Douglaston Station area, particularly the station house, platforms, tunnel and other infrastructure.
