It's Our Park Day

November 2, 2019
Thank you to our volunteers who came out and helped with our first It's Our Park Cleanup at Catherine Turner Richardson Park on Saturday, November 2nd.  We partnered with MS67 Middle School and had 9 students from MS67, 3 students from Newcomers HS in Long Island City and 1 student from Frank Sinatra School of the Arts.  We really appreciate your hard work! We cleaned up about 60 bags of leaves, a lot of sticks and branches and planted about 300 daffodil bulbs courtesy of the New Yorkers for Parks Daffodil Project. And thank you to Jeff at Toskana Pizzeria restaurant for his generous donation of pizzas for our industrious volunteers.

It was great to work with Partnership for Parks and the Parks Department to take care of our local community spaces.
